Bella Rosa DesignersTAMI MORRIS

Tami Morris and her sister Katy Palermo have created an exclusive line of handcrafted pieces inspired by the exceptional European collection of vintage jewels and holy medals that belonged to their late mother, Margaret Morris. Mrs. Morris was the founder of the legendary Dallas boutique, Rue de Reves which carried the most coveted women’s wear collection in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Their late mother put faith at the forefront of their Italian family. Their Catholic & Italian heritage combined with periodic travels to the holy lands instilled deep meaning to the Palermo girls while allowing them to accumulate a vast array of vintage keepsakes. After their mother’s passing they discovered endless rows of medals, each with its own lineage of faith and family. These medals dated from 50-150 years old and Tami and Katy soon envisioned these medals on vintage Chanel chains, rosary beads, and other antique settings. The result of these two sisters coming together was Bella Rose, a jewelry line that blends religion and fashion together using antique or vintage holy medals and rosary beads.

Bella Rosa AssortedCUSTOM KEEPSAKES

Bella Rose showcases museum quality antique jewelry. All of the medals used in their line, whether pulled from the original collection of Mrs. Morris or from selected vintage medals found in France, Belgium or Italy, are 50-150 years old. If you have jewels or medals from your own family treasure trove, Bella Rose will help you turn these keepsakes into new family heirlooms. Tami will have her tools and be prepared to exchange medals and chains to give new life to your family keepsakes. Rosary beads can be turned into bracelets; crosses and family medallions into necklaces, all a tiny family memento that evokes a sense of history. So if you have a personal collection of family jewelry, consider working with Tami to produce a unique family heirloom.
